+Starting 2009, the Palace Resorts has changed their rules for the Golf Packages. Until then, guests have been allowed 18 holes of golf per day with the purchase of the Golf Package room category. Starting 2009, guests will be allowed "one round of golf per room, per day". That means if there are 2 guests in a room, staying 5 nights, they will be entitled to a total of 5 rounds of golf. The reason for this change, according to Palace Resorts' spokesperson, is that people were complaining about the rule that "all guests in a room must purchase the Golf Package in order to qualify for the included golf". To compensate for the fewer rounds of included golf, they have lowered the price of the Golf Package room category.

Price for a regular room package is $1727/per person (air/transfers/resort/all-inclusive/taxes/gratuities)
Price for a Golf Package room is $2077/per person (air/transfers/resort/all-inclusive/taxes/gratuities+ one round of golf per room/per day)
The difference in cost would be $350/per person.
They are allowed 7 rounds of golf, or 3 1/2 days of golf if both guests played together.
Now, 2009 course fees are $260/per person/per round for the Moon Palace Jack Nicklaus course, $230 for the new Riviera Cancun course,
and $190/per person/per round for the Playacar course.

These golf courses were built among the lush foliage of the Mayan Riviera, making them not only beautiful but challenging.

If you love golf, then we highly recommend a Palace Resorts all-inclusive Golf Package at the Moon Palace Golf Resort, Cancun Palace, Sun Palace, Beach Palace, Xpu-Ha Palace or the adults-only Aventura Spa Palace. Without the package, green fees are $250 USD for the Moon Palace course, and $160 USD for the Playa course.
